Each surrogacy agency has different requirements, preferences, and qualifications for their surrogates. This means that by applying with us, you are actually applying to every agency within our network, and if it's of interest to you, also with all of our registered intended parents through our Fertility Vault program that are looking for an independent surrogacy match. Below are some of the general requirements of becoming a surrogate.
Must be between the ages of 21-45.
Must have delivered one or more child(ren) without any major complications.
Must live in one of the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 33 or less. Calculate your BMI here.
All surrogates must be reliable...this is a very important job!
Must be a non-smoker or drug user, and maintain a healthy lifestyle
