My name is Stephanie Levich and I've been working with surrogates for over a decade. I started my career in the surrogacy field because of my own family's experience with infertility. My mom suffered from an infection when she was only a child which resulted in a hysterectomy. She and my dad so badly wanted to have a family and the only way that was possible at the time was through adoption. They went on to adopt myself, my brother and my sister. My parents are the most loving and supportive people and I'm so lucky to call them mom and dad. The thought of other incredible people like my parents being unable to share that love with a child, broke my heart. So began my work in surrogacy.
I was introduced to the world of surrogacy in 2004 when I began working with a Los Angeles based egg donor and surrogate agency. There I handled all aspects of surrogacy from recruiting surrogates, to matching surrogates, to overseeing the entire surrogacy process. From there, a colleague and I went on to start our own egg donor and surrogate program. Under my leadership, our agency became one of the top egg donation and surrogacy agencies in the country.
A highlight of my career so far was being invited to the White House in July of 2012 to talk with political leaders and fellow business owners about challenges young entrepreneurs face. I've also been humbled to be featured in several major publications including ForbesWoman, The New York Post, and in 2008, I was named one of the top 30 entrepreneurs under the age of 30 by Inc. Magazine. Finally, I had the privilege of working closely with a multi-million dollar accessory company to launch and manage their application and interview process for ABC's hit show Shark Tank which ultimately landed them a deal with Daymond John.
But beyond any professional achievement, my two proudest accomplishments are undoubtedly my son and my daughter. After years of going through various fertility treatments, my husband and I were very fortunate to find success with IVF. My unexpected personal experience with infertility ended up only strengthening my desire to help others experience the profound miracle of parenthood. And to help the hero surrogates that selflessly sign up for what I believe is the most important job on the planet. There are so many surrogacy agencies opening every month and many just don't have the proper experience, or the proper protections in place to safely manage the surrogacy process. I want to make sure you are cared for during your surrogacy journey and that you have the best and most beautiful experience as a surrogate possible. I can't wait to be in touch.
